![]() The film, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary, was taken away from Welles during editing. Welles, who rose to fame through radio and theater (his 1938 adaptation broadcast of The War of the Worlds is mythologized for creating an actual Martian invasion panic), followed up with 1942’s family drama The Magnificent Ambersons. It’s a drama epic in dramatic and temporal scope, awash in narrative and moral ambiguity, and groundbreaking camerawork that expanded the cinematic language. Orson Welles made the greatest directorial debut ever with 1941’s Citizen Kane, the story of the life and death of media magnate Charles Foster Kane. While there was no one named Annikin or Anakin in the second draft, the name reappeared in the third and earliest versions of the fourth draft. In the first draft, Annikin was renamed " Justin Valor." This name was dropped in later drafts. He also became the source of Luke's father's name, Anakin, in the third and later drafts. He played a similar role to that of Luke Skywalker in A New Hope, although his cockiness and brashness resembled Han Solo from A New Hope and Anakin Skywalker from Attack of the Clones. Īfter the death of his father, he became the suitor to Queen Leia of Aquilae, ruler of his home planet, and was named Lord Protector of Aquilae.Īnnikin Starkiller was the lead character in the rough draft of what would become A New Hope. He became the Padawan learner of Luke Skywalker after his father, Kane, revealed to Skywalker that he was dying. He wore his hair in a distinctive Kessilian hair knot.Īfter a Sith Knight located him and his family and killed his brother, Deak, Annikin and Kane headed back home to Aquilae. Annikin, despite his relative youth, had taken part in the Kessilian civil wars and led a Hubble expedition to the Cone systems. After the Jedi Rebellion, the teenage Annikin and his brother Deak Starkiller settled on the Fourth Moon of Utapau with their father, Kane Starkiller. ![]()

![]() Really it just goes to show that having open source drivers is the way to go, as anyone can come along and find various ways to optimize them both big and small. I’m just micro-optimizing for the benchmarks that I write, not saying this will double your Cyberpunk 2077 FPS. What's the real world performance difference? Well, Blumenkrantz said at the end of their blog post: The fun thing is that the patches only touch a few lines and yet provide such a boost. Thanks to their investigation the result is two small patches that aren't yet merged into Mesa but once in, should provide a "60%+ improvement in draw throughput on ICL". Unlike epics of Greece and Rome, the intact story of Gilgamesh became lost to later generations until tablets were discovered by Hormuzd Rassam in 1853 near Mosul and later translated. Gilgamesh is often said to be the oldest surviving great work of literature, with origins in the third millennium BC, and it passed through thousands of years on cuneiform tablets.
